The Senior Technical Lead role is a full stack lead developer who is responsible for providing specialized technical leadership in the analysis, design, development, implementation and support for technically complex solutions for HR, ensuring Bank standards and best practices are followed during the development of application code. The incumbent is responsible for current and future implementation projects within the group, introducing new technologies to meet business objectives and providing technical consultation and guidance to all development projects. The successful candidate is a full-stack engineer, who can modify UI components, write a RESTful API, and implement a data backend, write high-performance software, and micro-service architecture, etc.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for someone who will work closely with onshore and offshore vendor partners to ensure that solutions being delivered are of necessary quality and align with project goals.
Designing, implementing and refactoring code
Participating in solution design discussions focused on scalability, design and implementation best practices
Ensuring software, programs and applications are developed and/or configured to meet high availability, integrity and reliability requirements
Working with other developers and business analysts on breaking-down, scoping and estimating tasks.
Delivering code for development, modernization and integration to meet the business needs.
Proactively partnering with business line representatives to drive improved technology solutions that support business strategy.
Maintaining code documentation and manage changes in requirements through the SDLC process.
ARE YOU THE RIGHT PERSON FOR THE ROLE?
5+ years of experience in information technology
5+ years programming full-stack applications
5+ years of experience developing solutions using technologies such as .Net Framework and .Net Core, HTML5/CSS3.
5+ years of experience with SQL Databases and Web Storage, HTTP & REST, Web Architecture, GIT / BitBucket, JIRA.
Experience with micro-service architecture and cloud infrastructure
Solid understanding of using TFS (Team Foundation Server), Git repositories, branching policies, etc.
Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills are essential.
Practical experience with Agile Scrum methodology.
Assess and analyze technology options to evaluate solution alternatives that meet business needs
Education: Bachelor (equivalent or higher) degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline.
This role may require being on call after hours to provide support to designated applications, and/or to support the duty programmers in resolving complex production problems.
