In our new Regional Centres, located in Edmonton, Calgary and Vancouver, chip in as part of the team, by providing varied services to Canadian Western Bank's loan portfolio in a regionally centralized environment.
Manager, Loan Administration is part of the leadership team in the Regional Credit Support Centre and is responsible to provide leadership to direct and remote reporting lines (as applicable) and responsible for loan administration, funding, maintenance and servicing Canadian Western Bank's loan portfolio. This role will work collaboratively with the senior leaders of the Credit Support department to drive a high level of quality and standards, risk management, strong data integrity, high quality leadership and coaching to both onsite and remote teams.

What you will be responsible for:
Support and provide team leadership development, implementation and maintenance of the organization transition to consistent credit processing and support for the branch network, through continuous collaborative approach with the business and corporate departments.
Contribute and support the progress of continuous improvement of all Credit Support processes specific to loan administration, maintenance, and funding.
Contribute to the development and accountable to implement the processes which lead to consistent and predictable daily credit support outcomes across the branch network.
Evaluate existing process documentation, personnel and requirements to develop, coach and promote staff to full potential while creating efficiencies and expanding areas of expertise for others.
Provide data to the AVP, Regional Credit support to conduct impact analyses for affects to the mandate of regional credit support teams by acting as the key liaison for organizational system changes.
Contribute to facilitate discussion and escalate issues for resolution on policy or process debates.
Contribute to the development of Service Level Agreement (SLA) targets and quality benchmarks for credit support teams and ensure these are being met through monitoring and reporting.
Contribute to the progress of targeted benefit realization from credit processing standardization.
Actively works to ensure standardized loan administration processes are followed and data integrity is consistently achieved, monitored and maintained.
Direct a team of Loan Administration Specialists within the regional credit support department to ensure smooth daily operations and maintenance of consistent centralized service workflow.
Provide formal performance management and coaching with team members to develop skills and confidence and understanding of the loan administration and internal audit requirements.
Who you are:
Diploma or Degree in Business Administration or related field.
Minimum 7 years credit support experience including 3-5 years management/leadership experience with teams including direct and remote/virtual locations.
Change management experience with business transformation projects including coaching and mentoring high performing teams.
Excellent knowledge of loan administration, collateral securities and credit processes. Experience in loan administration, collateral securities, credit processes, and complex commercial loans.
Knowledge of commercial lending policies, procedures, regulations, documentation, compliance issues, collateral securities and audit requirements.
Strong knowledge of the Banking System, Loan Origination Systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and Adobe Forms.
Understanding of banking products for retail and commercial banking, in addition to equipment financing.
Customer focused, with ability to engage in and drive multiple initiatives simultaneously in a fast paced, high volume, work environment.
Identify efficiencies and continuous improvement opportunities that align with corporate culture.
Creative problem solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to diffuse challenging situations and find common ground.
Respectful, dedicated, and self-motivated teammate with experience in peer-to-peer coaching and mentorship.
Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact expertly with a diverse group of partners in a non-client facing environment.
