What you will be doing:

  • Complete renovations from demolition to completion
  • Lead and work together with a team of 2-4 on landscaping renovations for residential and commercial properties
  • Responsible for ordering necessary material for each project
  • Operate mini excavator and/or skid steer to demo and prepare sites
  • Organize and set paving stones for driveways, patios and walkways
  • Organize and build retaining walls
  • Plant, lot grade, haul/spread soil and bark mulch

Our Ideal Candidate:

  • 4 years or more experience working in landscape construction - preferably in hardscaping
  • Good communicator and Leader
  • Work with a team to accomplish tasks at hand
  • Responsible and reliable – As a team we count on each other
  • Ability to work with hand/power tools and other construction related equipment
  • Mini Excavator and Skid Steer Operation an asset
  • Physically fit - able to lift 40-80lbs, as required
  • Class 5 Drivers License

Salary: $28.00 to $35.00 /hour

Experience:

  • Hardscaping: 4 years (Required)

Job Duties:

  • Consult blueprints, designs, and client instructions to develop construction plans for your team
  • Manage construction sites, ensuring that workers adhere to construction plans and safety codes
  • Create and enforce employee schedules and construction timelines
  • Document all costs and ensure that expenses never exceed the construction budget
  • Other duties as requested
