This position will be responsible for the day to day bookkeeping and administration of multiple start-up ventures; in industries such as real estate, cannabis and family office investments. The individual will work closely with the President out of the Company's office, located at Sopa Square on Pandosy Street in Kelowna, BC. The individual must be able to multi-task and prioritize based on ad-hoc projects, while working in a flexible and non-traditional office environment. This role is suited for an individual who is proactive and does not require micro-managing.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Full Cycle Bookkeeping Procedures & Administrative Tasks
- A/R & A/P
- Prepare and maintain Receiver General, GST, PST
- Prepare financial statements for external accountant
- Bank reconciliations
- Executive Administrative/Personal Assistant support as required
Qualifications and Skills
Post-secondary education or accounting education would be considered an asset. Preference is given to applicants with experience in similar roles.
This contract position is to start immediately.
Part-time or flexible hours are possible, once all financial records are up to date. Has the potential to grow to full time permanent for the right candidate.
