The Site Superintendent is responsible for the day-to-day management/scheduling of an assigned projects construction site, including optimizing efficiency, managing budgets, presenting metrics, developing process improvements, ensuring that the needs of internal and external customers are met, and creating purpose and direction for their crew.

Reviews and develops project plans, work priorities, schedules, and crew allocations to ensure project objectives
Develops and maintains relationships with internal and external customers including General Contractors and Projects Managers
Works closely with the Project Manager
Oversees weekly toolbox meetings and attends weekly trade meetings
Strong organizational skills as well as a demonstrated ability to lead and motivate crews &/or sub-contractors
Prepares overall work plans, schedules, optimizes logistics, transport and distribution practices of equipment and inventory
Respectful interpersonal skills including conflict and dispute resolution with external and internal parties
Reviews and provides assistance regarding quality assurance and control
Monitors all site instructions and change notices and makes adjustments as required
Minimum five (5) years of Commercial &/or Infrastructure construction experience/formwork
Knowledge and the ability to comply with ALL WorkSafe (WCB) procedures/safety practices including on site work practices and guidelines
Knowledge of Peri and Doka systems considered an asset
Must be willing to work overtime as required including weekends
Must have reliable transportation to all job sites
