Shipping & receiving globally (finished good materials to established customers and samples to sales teams within Viscofan corporation)

  • Knowledgeable in logistic details and requirements for items being shipped
  • Knowledgeable in prior notices, B13 and other government custom clearance requirements worldwide
  • Able to maneuver within government, logistic and/or broker web sites pertaining to country specified requirements and restrictions worldwide (ex. allergens and etc.)
  • Be able to receive items via courier and LTL shipments

Inventory control

  • Maintain warehouse(s) and stocking of items while adhering to BRCGS and Canadian Food Health and Safety regulations
  • Continuous movement of inventory from warehouse to plant based on production runs
  • Updating database on inventory utilization and shipping
  • Perform regular inventory counts and input data


  • Administrative duties involving ability to use MSOffice (must be able to use MS word and excel)
  • Perform customer service duties
  • Answer main office phone line and direct calls accordingly

Other duties but not limited to

  • Able to lift 40-50lbs
  • Fork lift trained (or willing to train)

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $14.00 to $17.00 /hour


  • Inventory Control: 2 years (Preferred)
  • Office Administration: 1 year (Preferred)
