Responsibilities

Ensure production runs according to schedule.

Supervise department daily activities and train / evaluate all personnel.

Ensure a safe work environment for self and others.

Responsible for all blow molding equipment maintenance.

Specific Tasks

Ensure production runs according to schedule.

Monitor production and equipment performance and correct problems as necessary

Maintain communication with other department to ensure manpower / storage / material, etc. are coordinated for smooth production needs.

Coordinate with Planer to ensure that blow molding production is efficient in terms of minimizing for changeover on color, equipment downtime and waste generation while maintaining reliable bottle supply for filling operation.

Ensure production schedule is monitored and inform Planner / Plant Manager of delays and problems.

Ensure production and downtime records are maintained on a daily basis

Maintain quality control required by ISO standards in bottle quality, weights and appearance.

Prepare material requests and keep a minimum inventory requirement on bulk resin, color, purging compound and spare parts.

Ensure that blow molding department needs are factoring in to the preparation of the production schedule.

Supervise, train and evaluate all personnel.

Schedule and ensure sufficient manpower to cover daily production needs.

Ensure production schedule are communicated to staff and executed accordingly.

Identify training requirement and provide training to staff in blow molding techniques and operation. Maintaining training records for blow molding staff.

Conduct annual staff performance reviews.

Monitor employee attendance.

Ensure that all company policies are implemented and adhered to.

Ensure a safe work environment for self and others.

Monitor all compliance to the health and safety procedures and takes appropriate action to deal with non-conformances.

Participate in investigation and accidents and incidents and provides input for continuous improvement.

Participate in Health and Safety audits as assigned by Health and Safety Committee.

Ensure employees have been given Health and Safety training.

Ensure all personnel wear necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.

Maintain level of housekeeping, ensuring the production area is neat and safe.

Ability to identify and provide recommended solutions to Plant Manager of situations that may be a source of danger or hazard to employees.

Responsible for all blow molding equipment in terms of maintenance.

Establish preventive maintenance program for blow molding related equipment and ensure the execution of PM program.

Organize and conduct repair tasks deemed necessary to meet production needs.

Source / purchase parts and services for equipment maintenance needs in accordance with proper approval process

Maintain critical spare parts inventory at proper level.

Request assistance of the maintenance department with equipment repairs and problems.

Other Duties

Other specific assignments as directed by the Plant Manager.

Assist with equipment selection, layout and installation as required.

Other tasks as assigned by Plant Manager
