Ricoh Legal Services is seeking a highly skilled consultative sales professional to join our Legal Services team as a Sr. Business Development Manager – eDiscovery and Information Governance (BDEIG) in Western Canada. The BDEIG is responsible for driving new business growth and increased market share in the Alberta and British Columbia corporate markets by effectively selling Ricoh Legal’s eDiscovery and Information Governance; technology and consulting solutions and services.

This role serves as a key member of the business development team, reporting to the Director, Sales & Business Development Legal Services and is responsible for supporting the strategic development of emerging solutions, onboarding new clients, achieving a specified sales quota, identifying contracted revenue opportunities. Critical to this role is the ability to develop in-depth knowledge relating to the company’s technology and services offering and to articulate a strong value proposition to prospects and customers. Strong consultative selling abilities, being a subject matter expert and selling to senior decision makers within the client organization are also critical to this role.

The BDEIG is highly skilled at preparing value-based sales proposals, price estimates, and presentations to successfully win and onboard new clients and expand new and existing markets in British Columbia. Responsibilities include territory/account development, prospecting, qualifying sales leads, building multi-level client relationships and assessing client needs in order to promote appropriate solutions to meet annual financial targets. A key area of responsibility is to support business development initiatives and to seek new and innovative sources of revenue growth.

This role serves as a key member of the Sales and Business Development Team and is responsible for achieving a specified sales quota, identifying new and contracted revenue opportunities, preparing value-based sales proposals and price estimates, presentations and technology demonstrations to successfully win sales opportunities.

In order to effectively fulfill the role of Sr. Business Development Manager – eDiscovery and Information Governance applicants must possess the following education and competencies:

  • University degree and 5 – 8 years work experience in business development, business management, or strategic, consultative selling.
