Integration Architect / Senior Developer

Carey Management Inc. has an exciting opportunity for an Integration Architect/Senior Developer to join their application team at the start of our digital transformation journey. As the Integration Architect / Senior Developer you will be an integral part of the technology selection, design and implementation of solutions that will pave the way for the future of the CMI group of companies.

Responsibilities

  • Implementation of system interoperability, data exchange, and process integration/workflow solutions using middleware and business process automation tools
  • Provide complete solutions spanning multiple technology areas, including application, database, middleware and security
  • Build and oversee the production of technical requirements, architecture and design deliverables, development and implementation of complete integration solutions
  • Participate as part of a hands-on team with other application developers, support and quality assurance teammates during the development and implementation of integrated solutions
  • Identify and establish tools, operating environments, design and development standards, and technical documentation as required
  • Examine, document, and explain technical implications as related to project planning, specifically - risk mitigation, task identification, estimates, task dependencies and resource requirements
  • Monitor overall team activity during development and implementation of solutions, providing your expertise as needed to support activities through problem solving, and by identifying/evolving standards, best practices and reusable solutions
  • Support legacy enterprise, middleware applications and environments
  • Effectively communicate and define technology considerations within the context of business requirements
  • Ensure that business objectives are aligned with technical and management objectives and can explain technical concepts to a business audience
  • Support implementation and operational strategies, approaches and execution
  • Lead and mentor other design and development team members and support key decisions consistent with realistic time, cost and scope constraints
  • Work under some supervision but manage and mentor technical resources within an overall project plan

Experience

  • 10+ years progressively senior experience in information technology with solid background in enterprise application architecture, planning, design and development
  • Wide breadth of recent development experience in Messaging Middleware, Service Oriented Architectures, Web Services and RESTful service, JSON and XML
  • Proficient in Microsoft programming language C# .Net
  • Proficient in SQL Server and stored procedures (T-SQL)
  • 3-5 years in at least one event driven integration platform (e.g. MuleSoft, Apigee, Tibco BusinessWorks, JitterBit, Zapier, Informatica Cloud Data Integration, Oracle Integration Cloud Service, Dell Boomi)
  • 3-5 years using data integration tools (e.g. Informatica, SQL Server Integration Services, Adeptia Data Integration)
  • Demonstrated experience in the development of integration architectures, patterns (e.g. publish-subscribe, request-reply, ETLs), reference architectures and roadmaps
  • Demonstrated experience building a foundation/framework for integration between in-house, B2B and cloud SaaS applications
  • Strong track record of building and maintaining solid relationships with internal and external customers and vendors
  • Experience in architecting in an agile and/or Dev Ops environment or knowledge of methodologies
  • Experience in product selection - evaluating to meet requirements
  • Experience integrating SaaS applications
  • Experience with continuous integration, build and deployment
  • Experience with open source development tools
  • Experience in data enrichment, transformation and mapping at a detailed level
  • Experience with EDI and non-relational databases is desirable

Working Conditions

Office environment – salaried position based on 40 hours per week plus participation in after-hours on-call support rotation as applicable.
