As a Sales Associate you will promote and sell a full range of educational resources into the elementary and secondary school markets within the defined territory

Duties and Responsibilities
At the direction of the Director of Sales/Regional Sales Manager, support overall strategic sales priorities and direct selling initiatives, including;
Identifying key contacts in select market segments to target direct marketing and selling of key identified K-12 learning resources
Direct selling of key identified K-12 learning resources via phone, email, select conferences and events
Update contact database and sales activity in CRM
Support LSM sales function upon approval/direction of Director of Sales/Regional Sales Manager
Marketing & Promotion
Initiate and execute custom direct email and phone campaigns – create/modify email templates and product scripts
Create custom contact lists based on campaign specific criterion, such as sales data/history, grades, subject, segments (e.g. Professional Learning, ELL, Early Learning, FSL, Assessment)
Set up, co-ordinate and attend displays and conventions as required.
Support Director of Sales/Regional Sales with report generation, partner data reporting
Attend and participate in sales & regional meetings and conferences as required.
Foster effective and efficient communication among team members, and all other internal stakeholders.
Experience and Education
Completed post-secondary degree
3-5 years proven sales experience and/or previous teaching experience
Strong verbal and written communication and organization skills
Proficiency in MS Office. Intermediate proficiency in Excel
Strong telephone skills
Must have a valid license and access to a vehicle
