Worley currently has a leadership opportunity for a Regional Director Mineral Processing in our Global Front End Solutions Business. Reporting to the Vice President, Global Mineral Processing, Front End Solutions, MM&M, this position has overall responsibility to manage the growth of our regional (Insert region) Front End Mineral Processing group. Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities:
Actively participates as a member of the Regional Mineral Processing Front End Solutions Leadership team
Providing leadership and management for a diverse team ranging from Junior engineers to Subject Matter Experts level of staff
Collaborating with other Global and Regional Front End Solutions Service Line Managers, the SVP, Front End Solutions, and Regional SVPs, in allocation of technical resources to company projects
Overseeing (and potentially managing) multi-disciplinary projects, including major studies; ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget and in accordance with company standards
Providing specialist technical input, leadership and management on projects; including major studies
Leading the identification and recruitment of high-quality staff to grow and expand the capabilities of the group and position the group for sustained growth
Ensuring professional development of service line people
Actively supporting business development activities through participation in conferences, direct business development activities and strategic client relationship management
Ensuring quality in projects by enforcement of a peer review policy and involvement of global specialists as project advisors
Ensuring compliance with company health and safety policies, project management and commercial procedures
Actively engages managed Service Lines leaders at all levels to reinforce engagement, commercial acumen, adherence to quality, standards, delivery of value and results
Provide health, safety and wellbeing leadership to deliver the vision of zero harm and ensure compliance with corporate management systems
Accountable for meeting agreed upon budget targets for the LEBIT within the Regional Service Lines he/she manages
Support development and implementation of strategy
Foster collaboration across the group
Travel regionally and globally (as needed) to represent the group in sales pursuits and support teams/projects
Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:
Experience working within a consulting or engineering based business.
15+ Years in a Leadership Engineering & Consulting role
Experience in an operations environment at a mine or process superintendent or manager level, or management of engineering study teams
Relevant Engineering, Business or Industry related degree or equivalent qualification
Knowledge and/or experience with typical client issues, capabilities, and clusters related to Mining, Mineral & Metals (i.e. mining, base and precious metals extraction and recovery, hydrometallurgical process, potash, lithium, etc.)
Knowledge of industry standards such as JORC, CIM or SME guidelines and compliance with public disclosure regulations
Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated leadership skills in the management of technical people and advanced projects
Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally, for varying durations and at times to remote locations
