We are a large consumer products company with over five thousand five hundred active items. We are looking for a talented fully bilingual Inside (Telephone) Sales Representative to work on site. The right candidate will need to be a self-starter with a minimum of three years of sales experience who is looking for an opportunity to learn in a fast-paced, evolving organization. What does an Inside Sales Representative do?

As inside sales representative you will play a fundamental role in achieving sales growth by calling customers across a number of different customer portfolios. You will have an extensive library of products with which to sell thousands of items across a diverse group of categories: servicing discount, mass grocery and hardware customers. We are looking for someone who is comfortable making dozens of calls per day, working with customers, generating interest, qualifying sales opportunities and closing sales using all assets at their disposal. We have a current customer listing of over 2,000 customers and have aggressive plans to grow sales with those that we service inside while expanding into different retail channels.


· Source new sales opportunities through inbound leads

· Follow-up on outbound cold calls and emails

· Lear and understand customer needs and requirements

· Learn and understand full product line by category and season, inclusive of new product

· Promoting the Company’s product line aligned with marketing calendar

· Responding to customer’s quotation requests, needs, inquiries, and concerns.

· Quotation & follow-up to close sales

· Processing of customer orders in support of new sales activity

· Work closely with the Sales Manager, Outside Sales Representatives, Credit Dept, Warehouse Operations, and other departments

· Finding solutions to customer’s demands and issues by navigating and activating resources to satisfy client

· Route larger or customized qualified opportunities to VP sales for further development and closure

· Close sales to achieve quarterly quotas/targets assigned per customer portfolio

· Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest directed by VP Sales

· Maintain and expand your database of prospects and track all call activity

· Team with channel partners to build pipeline and close deals

· Perform effective online communication for consumer product/promotional interest


· Proven inside sales experience – minimum 5 years

· Track record of over-achieving sales quota

· Quick learner regarding product offering

· Capable of working with different systems

· Personable

· Strong phone presence and experience dialing dozens of calls per day

· Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools

· Experience working with salesman data base and other CRM software

· Excellent verbal and written communications skills

· Strong listening and presentation skills

· Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively

· BA/BComm. degree or equivalent

Salary: $34,795.00 to $78,773.00 /year
