This role is the conduit between the Technology team and the lines of business. They translate the requirements from the business teams and has an understanding of its execution from a technology perspective. This role builds relationships and liaises with various stakeholders, internal and external, understanding the impact of any changes to products on


Work with business stakeholders to identify solutions which enable their line of business
Research and assess new technologies and provide recommendations to leadership team
Champion the needs of the business throughout the product lifecycle and ensuring what is delivered meets the original objectives
Ensure successful product delivery by proactively identifying risk and implementations migrations
Create and maintain product roadmaps for the applications within your portfolio
Provide updates to senior leadership on health and progress of product roadmaps
Always be on the lookout for ways to improve process and implement new technologies
Work within a team of product owners, developers and quality assurance analyst
Partners with vendors on current and future product needs. Supports the requests for quotes (RFQ) process with vendors, including analysis of vendor options when exploring new vendor relationships.


Office environment
This role involves 5% travel through Canada and the USA.


Knowledge / Skill Requirements:
You are a creative problem solver who thinks digital first and can work in an ambiguous environment
A team player who is willing to share knowledge within the team and help others grow
You are always up to date on new technologies and how the industry is changing
A strong understanding of retail applications and operation models
Can distill complex details into concise and clean manner for decision making purposes
Proven ability to manage multiple projects within a fast pace and ambiguous environment
Strong business acumen, communication and presentation skills

6-8 years working as a business analyst or technical role within the retail industry
5+ years in large scale technology implementations across an organization
Strong knowledge of emerging or available retail products and solutions

Degree in business, economics or engineering with relevant work experience
