The International New Business Director will be responsible for managing and developing the business in North America. They will be raising brand awareness across the country and surrounding areas.

This is a demanding, high level client facing role with a great deal of autonomy and accountability. Reporting to the CEO with close alignment to the Eagle Eye Executive team.

The International New Business Director will be the international company ambassador and will play a pivotal role in the organizational success within that area. They will take full accountability for commercial aspects of the role and will be responsible for client relations in their territories.

They will build their team around them as necessary and be able to adapt to the many facets of this challenging role.

There is a requirement for travel both within Canada, across North America and to the UK as part of this role. All successful applicants will be subject to background checks as part of the offer.

Typical duties include

Developing

  • Understanding digital marketing technology and its application in North America
  • Use existing network and new leads (inbound & outbound) to build and maintain a strong pipeline
  • Deliver sales targets based on quarterly plan
  • Leverage customer and professional relationships to identify & develop key strategic initiatives and alliances
  • Attend networking events and pursue partnerships to enhance business development
  • Provide market feedback to the company leadership regarding competitive offerings, prospect needs and generate product development ideas
  • Input into strategy sessions for the North American market
  • Develop internal relationships with cross functional teams; specifically, between Sales and Operations
  • Work closely with the senior management and commercial leadership teams in the development and implementation of growth strategies, strategic plans, and business opportunities
  • Play a pivotal role in ensuring cross-departmental managerial alignment, upholding our mutually contracted commitments and advocating our company values

Leading

  • Present recommendations to Senior Management and participate in broader organizational initiatives to address issues which impact the North American function as and when they arise
  • Building, coaching, mentoring and leading your team (that will grow with success)
  • Be proactive in pioneering the international market place for Eagle Eye and developing market strategies to achieve this
  • Full accountability for all commercial action within North America, but the role may split subject to success

Managing

  • Performance against overall revenue goals and metrics as set by the group
  • Timely maintenance of CRM with opportunities and progress to drive up to date management information on sales forecast
  • Reporting and providing updates to senior stakeholders
  • Keeping open lines of communication with the Executive team, including weekly Sales and Operations calls and weekly forecast updates, business and initiatives as they occur
  • Manage existing and new international client relationships, ensuring achievement of revenue, profitability and growth goals in the international market
  • Directs and supports the consistent implementation of company initiatives
  • All commercial contracts will need to be signed off by the CFO and CSO who will ultimately have the final say on these

About you.

You have

  • Strong drive and a passion for digital technology and consumer engagement
  • An outstanding track record in sales target achievement
  • A strong knowledge of brands and the consumer marketplace
  • A high level of customer engagement experience and the ability to network, influence and negotiate at senior level (preferably at president level)
  • Proven client relationship building experience at senior level
  • Proven ability to work effectively across countries / time-zones
  • An understanding of retail markets
  • Knowledge of POS systems
  • Financial acumen
  • Minimum 5 years’ senior management experience building and running multidisciplinary teams in a Sales environment
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in bid, programme and project planning
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in Coupons, Loyalty and Stored Value
  • Experience running a standalone operation
  • Experience within small entrepreneurial companies and the flexibility required in positions
  • Experience working in a fast paced, challenging environment
  • A qualification of master’s degree level or equivalent
  • An MBA or equivalent qualification (desirable)
  • Membership to a professional organisation (desirable)

Hours of work: 0900 – 1730 (37.5 hours per week) with considerable travel

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $126,000.00 to $146,000.00 /year
