Kudos is looking for a highly motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to help us connect with quality prospects. We are seeking a self-driven individual that enjoys connecting with people. You have strong communication skills, a tenacity for fast-paced environments, and are a natural at sales. You are detail-oriented, patient, resilient and can manage multiple projects at once effectively. You are also enthusiastic, passionate, always looking for better ways to do things, and on a mission to get the job done! This role is an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking to start a sales career on the ground floor of an exciting software-as-a-service (SaaS) business.

Job Responsibilities and Requirements

Become an expert at using lead generation tools to generate lists of target prospect accounts (Linkedin, Zoom Info, and more)
Be proficient at using a sales development platform to execute the outreach process, consisting of phone, email, and social touches (Salesforce, Connect & Sell, Drift)
Contact and introduce our company to potential prospects through cold calls and emails
Connect with CHRO's to HR Managers at mid-market operations throughout North America
Qualify prospects based on their business challenges and needs using targeted and relevant questions
Conduct discovery calls to evaluate and qualify inbound prospects
Schedule demo calls for our Business Development Team based on prospect alignment and fit
Meet or exceed qualified lead/demos quota every month
Assist in proposal development and opportunity follow up.
Strive to continuously improve your sales development process and demonstrate a willingness to learn and implement best practices
Represent and embody our company values, brand, and mission
Internal Job Responsibilities and Requirements

Work with other team members to develop, refine, and implement the sales strategy and tactics.
Work alongside internal teams to help develop and improve other departmental strategies.
As required, work with Kudos Leadership to understand Kudos and create a plan that protects and grows our culture along with the business.

Desired Skill Set and Experience

Minimum 1-year experience in sales or sales support, with SaaS tech firm a plus
Post-secondary education arts, business or marketing
Strong verbal and communications skills
Proficient at Excel and PowerPoint (Numbers and Keynote) to prepare presentations and sales reports
Proficient on a Mac, in MS Office and iWork.
Natural customer-facing skills including the ability to build a strong rapport with prospects
A thirst for knowledge and growth in a start-up environment
A sense of urgency and persistence
Prior lead generation and/or sales prospecting experience is a plus
CRM experience is a plus
