Founded in Kingston in 1954, Homestead Land Holdings Limited has grown to become one of Canada's largest and most respected owners of multi-residential apartment buildings. The founding principles of the company are still in place today, which are to provide residents with affordable, secure housing with a standard of care in which we would treat our own family members.
We are currently seeking full time Swing Stage Labourers to support various restoration projects of our high-rise apartment buildings in the Hamilton area. This is a seasonal contract position commencing in March or April and ending in September or November potentially becoming a full time permanent employee towards the end of the contract.
Typical duties include:
Suspended access platform work at heights (swing stages)
Carry out day to day restoration/general labour tasks as instructed by the supervisor
Restoration of buildings including: concrete repairs, brick repairs, coating systems
Utilize a range of tools and equipment such jack hammers, drills, grinders, etc.
Ensure all safety procedures are followed at all times
Must be able to travel around Toronto
Concrete Restoration experience is an asset
Swing Stage experience is an asset
Working at Heights and Suspended Access tickets are an asset
