About the role
We are looking for a Maintainer/Operator - Mechanical 2 – Millwright who will ensure that maintenance activities are safely carried out to fixed plant, and associated assets, in a safe and efficient manner.
This role is a great opportunity to join the IOC team.
Reporting to the Supervisor and working in a collaborative community within the Maintenance Team, you will be required to:
Participate actively in company safety systems and initiatives
Demonstrate a safe work record resulting from a proactive approach to safety
Contribute to improvement ideas and solutions in the workplace
To be successfully considered for this role, you will:
Hold an Interprovincial Journeyperson certificate
Experience in an industrial environment
Self-starter, energetic, committed to achieving results
Possess a highly flexible approach to work
Team membership skills including the ability to work well in a team environment
A strong safety mindset

The Iron Ore Company of Canada (IOC) is a leading Canadian producer of iron ore concentrate and iron ore pellets that serves customers worldwide.
