Binnie is looking for a Project Manager to join our Northern Division full-time in our Prince George office. Prince George is known as the “Northern Capital” of BC and is the largest city in the north with a growing economy and population in need of strong engineering infrastructure work.

Our Northern Division specializes in project management and engineering infrastructure solutions throughout Northern BC.

As Project Manager, you will report to our Northern Division Manager, who has over 30 years of experience in the industry, and work alongside a tight-knit project team.

You will provide project management services to a wide variety of clients. You will manage design projects for both private and public clients, as well as work directly with clients as their Project Manager. Projects can range from a park or trail improvement to a major infrastructure project.

You will provide planning, direction, and reporting for projects to ensure we meet the needs of our clients. You will also utilize your excellent business development skills to maintain strong client relationships and secure new business opportunities.

Engaging in active business development
Acting as the key contact on projects working with stakeholders, consultants, contractors and support staff
Preparing proposals and reports in coordination with our proposal team (under the supervision of a Senior Project Manager)
Developing project schedules and coordinating resources
Monitoring budget and progress on projects
Providing mentoring to less experienced Assistant Project Managers and guidance to the project team

5+ years of experience in a relevant industry (including 3+ years of project management experience)
Post-secondary education and/or credentials such as P.Eng., AScT or equivalent preferred
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is an asset
Valid Class 5 Driver’s License and personal vehicle
Solid design experience and progressive project management experience
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple complex projects
Strong communication and leadership skills
Excellent organizational and time management skills
