The Real Property Division (RPD), within the Ministry of Citizens’ Services, provides everything needed to manage the Province’s real estate portfolio, office space, furniture and special-purpose facilities. RPD serves the needs of approximately 30,000 public servants in the British Columbia Public Service and many more in the broader public sector.
The Accommodation Management Branch (AcM) strategically plans and manages accommodation for ministry and broader public sector clients within our owned and leased portfolios. Our goal is to assist clients and government in achieving their strategic plans through the provision of cost-effective and efficient real estate services including Leasing Services, Furniture Management and Workplace Strategies + Planning.
To provide technical project management coordination for large-scale projects throughout the project management life-cycle (i.e. initiation, planning, execution, control and close-out). The Project Administrator is also an assigned representative on project teams.
The Project Administrator role within the Community Space & Furniture Management / Accommodation Projects department in the Accommodation Management Branch is a key member of a team that develops provincial real estate strategies and leads the secretariat function of the Annual Space Planning Process. The incumbent also supports the management and procurement of new capital furniture assets. The Project Administrator provides ongoing guidance on project management processes and administration in support of the branch and the division in its stewardship of owned and leased properties to cost effectively support the current and long-term program needs of clients.

In order to be considered for this position, your application must clearly demonstrate how you meet the education and experience as outlined below:
A diploma, certificate, post-secondary education or equivalent in office/business administration, public administration, project management, financial management or related field.
Experience providing project management support services using project management software.
Preference may be given to candidates with experience working in commercial real estate.
Preference may be given to candidates with experience with project management principles and practices
