With unparalleled industry experience, we deliver innovative custom solutions and will have a need for a reliable Machinist for our Winter work season. The Machinist will set up, operate, and maintain a variety of conventional/manual tools to machine metal, plastic and other materials. This temporary full-time position will require working 45 hours per week plus the potential for additional overtime. Notably, this temporary position may become permanent or long-term depending on our bids, so if you have relevant experience and are motivated by challenging work not everyone can do, you might be the right person to join our growing team led by a new President!
Ideal candidates will have:
at least 3 years of professional conventional/manual machining experience.
strong communication and interpersonal skills;
the drive to work tirelessly day-in and day-out to reach a tight deadline;
motivation to do work not everyone can do;
the confidence and comfort to work outdoors, in confined spaces, in hot/humid environments, at heights, and through inclement weather;
at least 1 years professional (i.e., paid) construction millwright experience, which includes rigging, assembly, and disassembly.

We may give preference to those with the official status of 3rd/4th year machinist apprentice, the official trade qualification of General Machinist 429A, or the status of journeyman red seal General Machinist.
