As part of your work term, you’ll have an opportunity to participate in a series of professional developmental workshops and to learn from Bruce Power leaders, all while acquiring essential work experience to help launch your new career.
May 2020 Work Term
Reconciliation of historical data between systems, and other data analysis
Business analysis of systems, create and test reports
Participate in process improvement projects and implementation
Budget planning, forecasting, invoicing and accruals
Participate in the development of reports/metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPI's)
Support the purchasing department by providing data for Purchase Order administration
Coordinate departmental events such as conferences or industry related training sessions
Other duties as required
We seek students that :
Are eligible and available for a four (4-month) or eight (8-month) work term placement beginning in May 2020
Have a strong understanding of safety in the workplace
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational and planning abilities
Strong computer and analytical skills
Demonstrates strong learning agility and self-motivation
Solid academic performance with a G.P.A. equivalent to 3.0 or higher
Current post-secondary studies in one of the following programs and will return to school upon completion of their work term:
