We are looking for a driven, highly effective Senior Technical Project Manager to provide support to the Digital Department by responding to customer and partner inquires.

Senior Technical Project Manager

The successful candidate will be working in a fast-paced environment reporting to a member of the management committee. Working with the Sales Executives and Production Team, the Senior Technical Project Manager is responsible for establishing and maintain profitable relationships with customers by ensuring contracted work is completed on time and to customer expectations and internal margin requirements. The role will be focused primarily on managing projects related to Media Resources LED sign and digital manufacturing product lines.

As the Senior Technical Project Manager, you will serve as the primary internal representative of our organization for all contracted work, responsible for communicating customer requirements to the production team, in accordance with company policies and procedures, and for partnering with the Media Resources Sales Executive to ensure seamless communications with customers.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Sales and Marketing Responsibilities

  • In partnership with Senior Executives & Sales, effectively present and discuss the products and services of the company for selected customers and projects.
  • Complete in partnership with the estimating team a sales order confirmation call and signed form for all contracted work.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Scheduling Responsibilities

  • Develop a process and maintain an overall load balanced schedule for digital production and all projects involving more than one division. The scheduling system should incorporate items such as labour & equipment capability, lead times on subcontractors and material vendors, and shipping.
  • Develop a project management framework for managing all projects.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Project Management Responsibilities

  • Acknowledge and appropriately assist customers in a timely manner.
  • Review estimates and invoices for accuracy against customer POs and contracts. Understand and appropriately use the company pricing system and policies.
  • Review customer orders accepted for production. This will involve knowledge of electrical requirements, mechanical requirements, data requirements, software and installation. The successful candidate will know how to work with drawings and wiring diagrams.
  • Work with production to maintain customer schedules to ensure we meet customer deadlines.
  • Manage telephone calls, emails and other customer contacts professionally, efficiently, and with good written and verbal communication skills. Attend to customer questions, complaints and concerns immediately, and facilitate satisfactory resolutions.

General and Administrative Duties

  • Communicate (verbally and written) effectively with Customers, Management, Sales and the Production Team, informing and updating them regularly to guarantee that sales and customer objectives are met.
  • Comply with all safety requirements, work rules and regulations.
  • Compile and maintain all required paperwork, records, documents, etc.
  • Follow systems and procedures outlined in company manuals.
  • Participate as a key team player by supporting operations and sales as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Working Conditions

  • Fast-paced environment: subject to numerous schedule and priority changes and short notice activity.
