Shawcor Composite Production Systems (Shawcor) manufactures and sells spoolable composite pipe and poly pipe, used primarily by oil and natural gas producers in applications which benefit from the product’s pressure and corrosion resistance capabilities. Junior Product Manager

The Junior Product Manager, reporting to the Sr. Manager is responsible for stimulating profitable revenue growth by fully understanding the needs of Shawcor clients and managing Shawcor current and future product offerings to ensure that they provide the preferred solution to these needs.

Product management will include:
Positioning and implementing enhancements to existing products to maximize company growth
Analyzing opportunities for new products and implementing strategies to obtain rapid market acceptance


Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy for existing and new products including segment selection, penetration plans, technical product positioning, sales tools, and sales training
Work with internal teams to develop product strategies
Analyze product and service competitiveness and competitor financial performance
Collect Voice of Client: collect and analyze customer input and feedback for new and existing products and services
Engage lead customers for new products to ensure rapid market acceptance
Ensure product offerings provide complete solutions and introduce product accordingly
Frame potential new markets as required
Other duties as assigned

Skills and Qualifications

Post Secondary Degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Business, preferably with a focus on Marketing
Minimum 3 years of experience in the oil and gas industry
Preferably have both a technical background and product management experience
Strong analytical and client interaction skills
Entrepreneurial spirit
