MBRP is looking for a Supply Chain Analyst. A Supply Chain Analyst has an important role in the planning and carrying out large-scale projects. A Supply Chain Analyst collects and analyzes data to develop improvements to the supply chain including process changes, short term contingency planning, and longer-term strategic changes. They work to promote top-notch performance from suppliers to optimize costs, delivery, and quality throughout the supply chain.

The Supply Chain Analyst serves as the contact point for purchases and distributions on a global scale. They research fair prices and negotiate with company representatives to ensure the parent company is receiving the best possible price and service. The Analyst is an essential part of the team and ensures the flow of materials necessary for operations and distribution.

Role Summary:

MBRP is looking for a Supply Chain Analyst. A Supply Chain Analyst has an important role in the planning and carrying out large-scale projects. Job Specific Duties:

  • Design and implement methods to gather and manage supply chain data.
  • Research and seek out the most cost-efficient shipment procedures and methods.
  • Review and analyze data in order to improve supply chain process and develop an effective distribution process.
  • Research partner companies and seek to negotiate best-price contracts to increase business revenue.
  • Maintain a friendly and professional relationship with vendors while promoting company initiatives and values.
  • Assist in promoting a positive image and inter-business relationship with business partners and vendors.
  • Seek to improve all aspects of the supply chain by reviewing current methodology and processes.
  • Responsible for logistics planning for all relevant value streams. This includes forecasting, supplier planning, development of the distribution network and inventory management.
  • Activities would include delivery tracking, expediting and logistical supplier development. Lead and participate in continuous improvement activities to achieve plant targets.
  • Manage and monitor desired material component parameters to optimize inventory levels while supporting planned production in conjunction with purchasing, inventory control and scheduling team members.
  • Provide logistical expertise during launches and engineering changes.

Experience:

  • Experience in analyzing and improving supply chain, information and processes.
  • Supply Chain Management certification is not necessary though strongly preferred.
  • High-level understanding of all aspects of supply chain processes inclusive of importing/exporting globally.
  • Previous experience with supply chain processes is required.
  • Experience working in with MRP/ERP systems, fluent in Microsoft applications.
  • Professional communication skills are essential when conversing and negotiating with vendors.
  • Exceptional ability to conceptualize large-picture projects and foresee challenges and needs to be addressed.
  • Ability to research companies and determine the best vendors to reach out to for various projects.
  • Experience working to improve all aspects of the supply chain by streamlining steps and locating the best prices for inventory.
  • 5+ years’ experience in 3PL distribution process.
  • APICS certification or relevant experience required.

  • Supply Chain: 1 year (Preferred)
