Enkel is looking for a talented and competitive Sales Development Representative (SDR) that is excited at the opportunity to thrive and grow at a backed startup. The SDR will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives.

Enkel is well-capitalized and will be expanding its presence across Canada with the goal of becoming Canada’s most trusted back-office service provider.

We are not your father’s accountant! We believe in challenging the status quo and using technology to its fullest to automate back-office processes. We do not enjoy mundane accounting and believe that accounting should be used to push the business forward.

What We Need:
Enkel is looking for an ambitious sales development representative to work with its growing sales team. The SDR will focus on building the outbound sales pipeline with SMEs with revenues in excess of $1 million per annum where there are opportunities for recurring bookkeeping, payroll, and other back-office services. The SDR must have a solid work ethic and the drive to want to overachieve targets and quotas.

The SDR will be responsible for driving the sales process with potential customers. You will be reaching out to a variety of businesses on a daily basis as their trusted advisor to seek and understand their business objectives.

What the role looks like:
You will be directly responsible for outbound funnel growth. To do so, you will undertake the following activities:

Aggressively prospect for new clients through multiple outbound streams.

Achieve qualified meeting and opportunity goals by generating leads from targeted account prospecting

Educate potential customers on the value of outsourced accounting solutions and specifically Enkel’s outsourced accounting solutions.

Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest using the phone, social networks, and email

Maintain Enkel’s CRM and diligently monitor all new opportunities until they are booked for a meeting with an account executive.

Develop innovative strategies for finding new target customers and executing on these strategies.

Work alongside the sales team and provide feedback to help grow the sales organization.

What you bring:
2 or more years of sales experience.

A highly competitive attitude and a regimented work ethic.

A passion for sales.

CRM experience and experience with Gmail Suite.

Excellent calling skills.

Well-organized with excellent attention to detail.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

A commitment to customer service and to serving the needs of entrepreneurs in a variety of sectors.

An appetite for continuous improvement and change.

An overall commitment to continuous learning and personal growth.

A desire to continuously improve and inspire greatness.
