Through the Office of Clinical & Organizational Ethics, HHS has developed a program to support access to Medical Assistance in Dying (MAiD) for appropriate patients; specifically, the Assisted Dying Resource and Assessment Service (ADRAS) provides a centralized consultation and referral service to responsibly and compassionately manage patient inquiries and requests for assisted dying. The MAiD program Coordinator helps facilitate/coordinate referrals and requests for assisted dying and supports education, resource-development and quality improvement for the MAiD program.

Schedule Work Hours
Monday - Friday Days
This position is temporary until June 2021.
1. Health professional designation
2. Knowledge of assisted dying policy, procedure and legislation
3. Demonstrated experience in group facilitation, debriefing and education
4. Experience with project management and administrative organization
5. Experience with patient case coordination, documentation, system navigation
6. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and an ability to liaise with a
variety of stakeholders
7. Effective skills in developing educational materials
8. Clinical experience with end of life care
