We are seeking a motivated and career minded individual to fill our our Technical Sales Representative position. This position reports to our Western Canada Sales Manager and will be responsible for Central/Southern Alberta and Saskatchewan Sales activities.

  • This position can be based in Alberta or Saskatchewan.
Responsibilities:
Support regional sales in Central/Southern Alberta and Saskatchewan by fostering relationships with new and existing customers; travel will be required.
Create and maintain relationships in the regions you are responsible for.
Work with your manager to identify leads and convert to wins.
Work with manager to identify sales targets per region and strive to meet or exceed targets.
Work with local plant General Managers and staff to leverage existing relationships, understand their business and market, and capture opportunities.
Look for opportunities to sell NorthPoint's value proposition to potential and existing clients.
Work with Marketing department to leverage strategic marketing initiatives to support sales efforts.
Other duties as required to support sales.

Requirements:
Minimum 5 years practical technical experience within the electromechanical industry
Minimum 2 years in a sales role
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills
Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products

Education:
P. Eng., Electrical Engineering Technologist, Motor Technician or Electrician (Industrial)
