TMX Datalinx falls under the Global Solutions, Insights & Analytics business line. Trading activity on TSX, TSXV, Alpha and MX produces a stream of real-time data reflecting orders and executed transactions. This stream of data is supplemented with value-added content (e.g. dividends, earnings) and packaged by TMX Datalinx, our information services division, into real-time market data products and delivered to end users directly or via Canadian and global redistributors. Our market data is available globally through a large number of network carriers and extranets. TMX Datalinx is headquartered in Toronto, with sales offices in London, New York, Chicago and Hong Kong.
Historical market data products include market information such as historical tick data, official market statistics and close prices and corporate information such as dividends and corporate actions used in research, analysis and trade clearing.

The TMX Datalinx Product Manager for CDS, CDCC and Historical Data is responsible for managing a multi-million global business.
The Product Management function of TMX Datalinx is responsible for ideating, developing, and executing on products that will defend and grow revenue. This includes identifying the global addressable market, gathering and prioritizing customer requirements, leading a seamless development process across stakeholders and working closely with technology, marketing and sales teams in executing delivery.
Be accountable for the maintenance and growth of revenue for the CDS, CDCC and historical data products including revenue management and forecasting
Design, lead, manage and execute on a client-centric product pipeline (i.e., new products, value adds to existing products, pricing innovations, distribution innovations, etc.), including effective partnership with TMX internal agile delivery squads
Act as a champion and source of expertise internally and externally for CDS, CDCC and historical data products, including being knowledgeable about the global marketplace for similar products and building partnerships
Develop product marketing campaigns for TMX Datalinx sellers and partner effectively with TMX Datalinx sales team to execute
Lead on regulatory asks, commercial policies responses for the CDS, CDCC and historical data product suite
Partner with other TMX Datalinx Product Managers in brainstorming, designing, developing and executing a strong suite of successful TMX Datalinx products
Must Have Skills:
Ideal educational background includes business or technology degrees and/or other designations such as CFA, MBA
Minimum of 6 - 8+ years of successful B2B product management experience, with a preferred background in financial markets (including experience in the key aspects of the product life cycle of opportunity identification through development, implementation and operational stages)
Securities industry expertise, including trading, technology and related functions and knowledge of how broker/dealer, buy side firms, traders, analysts and retail investors utilize products from TMX Datalinx
Experience with revenue responsibility, developing product business strategies and successfully implementing them
Proven skills in quantitative analysis and/or financial engineering that will help with revenue management and forecasting
Experience in dealing with various client stakeholders, including broker dealers, market data vendors, institutional clients, asset managers, etc.
Important general skills include attention to detail, effective communication abilities, project planning, presentation skills and ability to work well in a team environment, self-starter, results oriented, and ability to cope with change and ambiguity

Fluency in French is considered as an asset
