As our HR Manager, you are a key member of the senior management team and is responsible for all human resource activities throughout the operation, including the Occupational Health and Safety Program. You’ll be able to jump right in and make this position your own given your strong coaching and development skills and desire for continuous improvement. You love a fast-paced environment, which will pair seamlessly with our Talent Acquisition team as you’ll assist in hiring the best and brightest throughout our industry.
Ideally, you’ll bring a diploma or degree in Human Resources and at least three to five years of Human Resources related experience. You also have a high sense of urgency and an acute ability to aptly prioritize tasks and priorities. For bonus points, you’ve also worked within a unionized environment and administered Collective Agreements. This role is primarily accountable to our Plant Manager while also providing support to the operations, Safety Designate, and other departments of the business.
