We are looking for a finance manager with extensive cross functional experience is required to lead the digital transformation of the Finance function. The development & activation of a business analytics strategy is the role’s primary function. As a master storyteller, the FAST Manager will be passionate about adopting modern information system tools, driving valuable insights from disparate data sets with a meaningful impact on both reporting and enhancing business performance. The success candidate will be highly developed in visualization of automated, standard business performance metrics. As an effective influencer, the Finance Decision Support Manager will ensure the analytics strategy is adopted by all business units.

Major Responsibilities

Accelerated Implementation of Business Analytics Strategy

Develop and implement a transformative business analytics strategy.

Work with stakeholders to form a mature understanding of the drivers of value creation for the business.

Enable the commercial business to draw conclusions beyond the numbers with deeper financial insights in analytical tools.

Draw connections between business performance and empirical financial data with a bias to prompt critical business choices.

Standardize Highly Reliable Financial Performance Dashboards

Establish 1st time accuracy quality on financial business performance publication.
Release performance analytics in alignment with the existing business cycles.
Use Lean methodologies to eliminate duplicate reporting by creating business-oriented reporting and analytics system that are adopted by the target users.
Influence the businesses to adopt a standard analytics methodology.

Innovate Technical Solutions

Provide innovative technical solutions to meet the business analytical need.

Demonstrate passion and curiosity around analytical technical platforms to solve business problems.

Build relationship internal and external with functional business partners to bring technical solutions.

Master of Visual Analytics

Illustrate data into a visual depiction to foster a simple, yet meaningful view of business performance.

Match data illustration to business needs of the end-user group.

Prioritize the Pipeline of Business Requests

Make business-beneficial trade-offs of a deep project pipeline to ensure both the activation of the analytics strategy and the urgent needs of the business.

Manage individual projects to an accelerated, successful outcome through excellent project management.

Use test and learn methodology in sprints to deliver innovative analytics projects.

Manage the Development of an Analytics Team

Establish an agile, high-performance business team of finance and technical business professionals.

Establish challenging performance and development objectives to create a performance break-through.

Manage the careers of a diverse group of professionals within a larger group of talent.

Experience: 8-10 years of collective progressive experience covering multiple aspects of finance.
Education: University graduate in Business or Finance, and accounting designation or equivalent is an asset.
Commercial understanding is critical and cross-functional experience is required.
Highly developed leadership competencies in change management, strategic thinking, effective communication and leading / developing people.
Mastery in the following professional/technical competencies: using analytics to drive insight, relevant business processes, financial modeling
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office.
Strong project management.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Negotiation skills.
Strong people and conflict management skills
Highly developed analytical and critical thinking.
