About the Role
The primary function of this position is to assist with the operations of the residential rental property, located in Victoria, British Columbia, that comprises of 207 residential suites and liaise with 7 commercial tenants. The Assistant Building Manager will be responsible for the administrative functions at the building and assisting the Building Manager with any financial, leasing, marketing, and maintenance activities. It is critical for the Assistant Building Manager to execute the highest level of customer-service by ensuring the building is maintained and managed to the highest standards.
Some of the responsibilities of the Building Manager include the following:
Assist with coordinating any matters related to tenants and their enjoyment of the building, including arranging service calls, collecting rent, organizing moves, etc.;
Efficiently and accurately report the financial performance of the building while looking for ways to reduce expenses without adversely impacting services;
Respond promptly and professionally to Tenant inquires and requests;
Communicate regularly with the Tenants to inform them of events or activities happening at or around the building;
Assist with the leasing and advertising of the building by preparing and posting marketing material, conducting suite showings, reviewing applications, and other administrative tasks;
Perform any adhoc tasks that the Building Manager requests to be done.

Our Must Haves
Proficient in both written and verbal communication;
A solid understanding of Windows-based software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook);
Experience with Yardi Voyager, Salto Systems, DDC Systems, Naborly, or Building Website an asset;
Candidate must live in Victoria, British Columbia.
