1 ‑ Temporary Full Time ‑ Business Data Analyst

The Business Analyst reports to the Manager, Strategic Sourcing and Transition, and will be working closely with

other Business & Data Analyst positions with responsibility for building contract registries, upkeep of data management/contract management solution, customer support and training regarding Contract Management tool,

creating reports for customers and internal work plans, metrics reporting, tracking/trending saving(s) results, creating

financial analysis spreadsheets for Request for Goods and Services (RFx), may be required to facilitate Requests for

Goods and Services (RFx), performing financial analysis for Request for Goods and Services (RFX) process for the

province regarding supplies and services; and other financial analysis or modeling that the management group

covers.

Employment Requirements:
  • University degree in business/computer science
  • Minimum 3 years of business or data analytics and/or procurement experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office, business and statistical software applications
  • Familiarity with online RFx posting sites (e.g. Merx, Bonfire)
  • Project management skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Bilingual candidates (French) with written and spoken skills is an asset
  • Understanding of the Broader Public Sector (BPS) Directives, CETA/CFTA, internal policies/procedures, and
industry Best Practices where applicable.
