The Project Management Office within Global Operations has been established to drive and govern programs through proper PMO best practices. Its primary focuses are strategic forecast planning and the establishment of corporate standards that include the effective use of a common project management methodology, processes, tools, templates, education, training, and project management competency. In addition, the PMO creates a tailored plan that assign the right tools and develops the ideal performance indicators, planning and resources needed to execute Projects.

As Senior Project Manager, you will lead, oversee and ensure the successful delivery and management of single or multiple projects within scope, quality, time and cost constraints that may be clearly defined or may require dynamic change management to deliver business value.

Leads and drives a customer focused culture throughout their team to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
Creates tailored plans that assigns the right accountability and develops the ideal performance indicators, planning and resources needed to execute Business Line and Corporate Function Projects through:
End-to-end project support/execution
Documented PMO governance and control processes
Staff training on the use of processes, templates and project workspaces
Analyze project proposals to determine time frame, funding limitations and appropriate process for accomplishing projects.
Identify and schedule project deliverables, milestones and required activities and tasks.
Provide leadership and motivation to project team members throughout the project life cycle, and confer with project staff to outline work plan.
Establish work plan and staffing for project activities, iterations or phases, and arrange for recruitment or assignment of project personnel.
Implement project communication plan, perform risk assessment and implement mitigation plans.
Monitor project activities, ensuring the currency, quality and integrity of the information, while providing consistency in content and "look and feel" across the enterprise.
Ensure that project goals are accomplished and in line with business objectives.
Direct and coordinate activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses are on schedule and within budget.
Prepare status reports, and modify schedules or plans as required.
Champion standards and procedures for project reporting and documentation.
Continuously benchmark project management performance to identify improvements and achieve higher capability maturity in PPM.
Prepare, maintain and execute all deliverable artifacts within methodology remit.
Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
Builds a high-performance environment and implements a people strategy that attracts, retains, develops and motivates their team by fostering an inclusive work environment and using a coaching mindset and behaviors; communicating vison/values/business strategy; and, managing succession and development planning for the team.

University Degree and 5 + years of project management experience
PMP certification required
MBA a strong asset, not required
Demonstrated leadership capabilities is required
Strong communication skills and ability to present and articulate information to executive management is required
Strong financial background in managing large scale budgets is required
Experience leading projects from start to finish is required
Strong strategic thinking and influencing skills are required

This position is located at Wynford Drive, North York or Tahoe Blvd, Mississauga regular travel to downtown Toronto will be required.
