What is the opportunity?
The Senior Manager will be responsible for supporting the Director, Global AML Program Management in the development and execution of Quarterly Reporting and Global AML Program initiatives. This individual will streamline communication and interactions between Global AML Program Management and the AML Advisory teams and identify efficiencies within these teams.
What will you do?
Gather information on the AML program elements from MLROs and work with the Advisory VPs to get the overall ratings and supporting commentary for use in the quarterly AML board report and develop, communicate and manage a quarterly reporting schedule that reasonably ensures timely and robust reporting, with suitable time for management review and discussion
Develop and implement a holistic AML reporting strategy to enhance the Quarterly and Annual AML board Report and ensure consistency in messaging in segment, regional and GRM reports (ex. Regional reporting, Operational Risk reporting) that include AML content
Act as primary contact with stakeholders in the segments, regions and GRM partners to coordinate AML commentary requests for stakeholder owned reports
Collaborate with partners in the AML Program Management team to develop a process and repository of core/common communication points for re-use, to ensure consistency in messaging and enhance the efficiency of reporting
Support Director in the development of a program to build out the AML Key Risk Indicator (KRI) program and enhance the existing suite of AML Risk Appetite metrics
Research and develop AML Program initiatives working jointly with stakeholders and functional partners, as needed
Communicate, coordinate and implement Global AML Program Management initiatives
What do you need to succeed?
Knowledge of anti-money laundering, anti-terrorist financing laws and regulations
Ability to interact with senior AML and business executives
Strong written and communication skills, business writing experience and strong presentation development skills
Strong Excel skills including the use of pivot tables and the development of macros
Experience developing senior leadership-level reporting is preferable
Understanding of Analytics and ability to interact with technical teams and convey data requirements is preferable
Experience working in governance, risk and compliance methodologies and practices is preferable
Knowledge of financial sector
Leadership and group collaboration skills
