Our company is currently seeking an Experienced Bookkeeper to join our team. You will be responsible for preparing financial records for our clients.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of full cycle bookkeeping experience
  • Attention to detail is required
  • Strong ability to meet/exceed deadlines consistently
  • Education in a related field is an asset

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in accounting
  • High level of communication skills and the ability to interact positively with clients, team members and government agencies
  • Strong experience in data entry, banking, reconciliations, A/P, A/R, payroll, GST filing, source deduction calculations, preparing adjusting entries and more
  • Critical thinking and consistent, high levels of attention to detail is essential
  • Experience in Quick-books, Sage and Profile
  • Comfortable using Excel and various everyday office software
  • Must have a positive attitude, and enthusiasm to do whatever it takes
  • Must be comfortable producing high quality results with minimal supervision
  • Experience compiling T1's an asset
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
  • Comfortable with change

Position Details:

  • Permanent, full time position
  • Working in an office environment
  • Commute time to/from work to be less than 1 hour
  • Salary negotiable based on level of skill and experience
  • Weekend or extended hours may be necessary during busy tax season
