What is the opportunity?

As Business Initiatives manager, you will manage and support the Client Onboarding capability and initiatives for Wealth Management Canada (WMC). You will primarily focus on being the Product Owner for Client Onboarding (COB) the #1 Transformational Initiative in WMC. You’ll work with various WMC business groups and collaborate with IT, Training, Branch staff and Operations to support the COB related projects. As Business Initiatives Manager, you will act as Product Owner for COB fills a critical management and leadership role by assisting the Head, Strategic Initiatives & Digital Enablement and COB Capability Owner, with the continual product management and distribution of our COB vision to all Canadian Wealth Management (WMC) lines of business in collaboration with our IT partners. You will help ensure success of our COB Initiative to deliver in a timely manner the most impactful changes to our field.

What will you do?

Clearly expressing the project priorities for Wealth Management Canada/Product Backlog items
Ordering the items in the Product Backlog to best achieve goals and missions
Optimizing the value of the work the development team performs
Ensuring that the Product Backlog is visible, transparent, and clear to all, and shows what the Scrum Team will work on next
Ensuring the Development Team understands items in the Product Backlog to the level needed
Collaborating with the stakeholders across IT, Operations and the various business areas (User engagement, Fee Based, Wealth Services, Change Management, Training, Communications, etc) to ensure all voices are heard
Help to drive adoption of the tools that are implemented in the field.

What do you need to succeed?

Must Have

Wealth Management Canada Domain knowledge, particularly within the account opening, including ClientSource, account opening processes/documentation
Strong communications skills, both written and verbal. Ability to do presentations.
Excellent collaborator and stakeholder management experience
Strategic mindset who challenges status quo.

Nice to Have

2 plus years of front office, Wealth Management branch experience, in either DS or PH&N
Agile experience
