Marineland of Canada Inc. is committed to providing a great first impression to our guests. Our Team Members, along with all other employees at Marineland, provide a lasting impression for all of our guests. Successful candidates chosen to become a Marineland Team Member can work in a variety of departments including Admissions, Food Services, Grounds, Guest Services, Retail, Rides, or Wagons and Kiosks as well as at our campground, King Waldorf’s Tent and Trailer Park. This position will report directly to their departmental Team Leader.
Marineland Team Members are responsible for providing a lasting impression that makes our guests want to return over and over again! Successful candidates will provide a guest service experience that directly relates to our guests experience and their impression of this organization. While there are age restrictions on some jobs, all applicants will be expected to have knowledge about Marineland of Canada Inc., the Park and its layout, King Waldorf’s Tent and Trailer Park and the surrounding area. Team Members must always provide guest service assistance that directly relates to the guests experience and ensure that our guests have a well-deserved experience at Marineland.
Essential Skills & Knowledge:
Experience in a direct front line guest service environment or other related field is preferred.
Ability to converse in another language is considered an asset.
Any knowledge of Health & Safety regulations, theme park operations, first aid and emergency situations, admissions procedures and ticket sales, sales and retail techniques and large outlet fast food services functions are a definite asset.
Ability to understand when to take appropriate action in guest service situations.
Good verbal and written skills with the ability to work with a can-do attitude, always achieving a positive guest experience.
Work with enthusiasm and energy when in the public eye, maintaining the confidentiality and integrity of the operation and concentration while working under a variety of pressures, and sometimes unpleasant, and extremes of weather conditions.
Ability to interact with a wide cross section of the general public with enthusiasm and energy, while working under a variety of pressures and extremes of temperature.
Must be able to walk and stand for the entire shift, some positions require lifting.
Ability to support a 7-day a week operation is essential.
