Pride Group Logistics has a new opportunity for a Dispatcher with a flexible work schedule to join our Operations Team at our location in Mississauga. This is a full-time position with steady year-round work. Training will be provided to the selected candidate
Essential Duties
- Schedule and dispatch drivers to appropriate locations according to customer requests/orders
- Track and Trace drivers, trucks and trailers when required and communicate with various stakeholders
- Solve operational challenges as they arise
- Maintain the company's TruckMate Software (TMW) by ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date
- Heavy communication is required through phone, messaging systems, e-mail and other internal applications
- Recommend and implement appropriate action plans for process improvement
- Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Minimum 2 years dispatch experience in the transportation industry
- Minimum 2 years experience booking loads into TruckMate Software (TMW).
- Working knowledge of e-logs tracking software and safety procedures
- Experience with US-to-US dispatching and familiarity with US geographical areas
- Ability to effectively deliver written and/or oral instructions while assisting drivers on the road
- Effective problem solving and conflict resolution skills
- Able to prioritize, set goals, and accomplish tasks with limited supervision
- Ability to work independently and as a team member
- Basic computer software skills
- Fluent in Punjabi, Hindi and English

Salary: $50,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
