For more than three decades, human space flight has been supported by advanced robotics developed by MDA. We have combined complex robotics with control software to develop the Space Shuttle's Canadarm and the Mobile Servicing System for the International Space Station. MDA is currently seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst I specializing in electrical inspections to be assigned to the Product Assurance (PA) department for aerospace, medical and nuclear programs.
Quality Assurance develops, prepares and/or revises quality procedures, directives, inspection and process instructions.
QA monitors all aspects of manufacturing, integration, testing and packaging.
QA performs manufacturing and paperwork inspections to IPC , NASA and MDA standards.
QA performs subcontractor/vendor quality audits and inspections to ISO 9001 or AS9100 .
Interested candidates must possess an Electrical engineering degree or equivalent with two years’ experience in Quality engineering field in a highly regulated industry . A quality certificate an asset. Experience with aerospace, nuclear or medical standards is an asset. Experience with ISO9001 required. Experience with AS9100, ISO13485 and Z299 an asset. Experience or training with IPC or equivalent standards is an asset . Strong computer skills including MS Office along with engineering tools would be an asset.
Excellent verbal, written communication skills are essential to this position . All candidates must be able to obtain CGP and ITAR clearance .
