To provide effective and sanitary cleaning of dishes, pots and pans
To organize, clean and sanitize all kitchen surfaces
To adhere to all cleaning and sanitizing procedures and to maintain a safe work environment
To remove all garbage and dispose of in a proper manner, breaking down all boxes and sorting all recyclable materials
Report to work punctually with standard uniform including hat or hair net.
To ensure all dishes, pots and pans are properly cleaned, sanitized and stored
To clean and sanitize dishwasher and sinks daily
To remove trash and recyclable materials to garbage area on a regular basis throughout the day
To clean and organize dish room and storage shelves daily
General kitchen cleaning exhaust hoods, range tops, ovens, deep fryers, shelves walls floors or any other equipment or area as needed under direction of Head Chef
Daily sweeping and mopping of floors, halls, stairs, in kitchen storage and receiving areas
Food prep as required (peeling of onions, carrots, potatoes daily)
Perform other duties as required.
Frequent walking between two buildings where our kitchens are located
Ability to traverse up and down multiple flights of stairs frequently – particularly in the Pub kitchen that has multiple stairs that go up and down from the Pub kitchen to the freezers
Ability to lift 25 lbs as per daily deliveries that are coming in from our suppliers, and the requirement to oversee these deliveries and assist in moving about beer cases, boxes of food, supplies, etc.
Ability to work in an extremely hot environment (kitchens) particularly during the hot & humid days of our summer time
