Backed by this extensive experience and the latest technology, we are building the next generation of software for financial services companies (particularly within wealth management and insurance).

We are looking for an experienced business intelligence product owner who is passionate about building products that work for customers.

You will join a fast-paced environment, working with cross-functional teams to design, build and roll-out products that are used by thousands of financial advisors and dozens of financial firms. Our roadmap is big and ambitious. You will help us solve some of the most interesting problems in the wealth management and insurance space.

You will engage directly with key business partners to build strong relationships and understand the business strategies and solution needs. You will translate your understanding of our business objectives into clear, measurable outcomes for engineering. To succeed in this role, you should be a perceptive leader and a reliable problem-solver who is passionate about technology in financial services.

We are a semi-virtual organization, so you can work from anywhere, however you must be able to treat Toronto, Canada as your home base.

If you've spent time working on modern, complex technology products and think you can help build the next generation of sales performance management tools, we want to meet you. On any given day, you will:

Gain a deep understanding of the market and customer experience
Work daily with market development, professional services and product development teams to ensure we are delivering the right product at the right time
Scope and prioritize activities based on business outcomes and customer impact
Identify opportunities in our platform and generate new ideas that improve customer experience and drive growth
Collect and analyze feedback from customers, stakeholders and other teams to shape new platform features and improvements
Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners
Work with senior management to create platform product plans and roadmaps
Make creative recommendations to expand product base and vision

As a technical leader in our product group, you probably have many of the following things going for you:

Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software product development
Proven experience working with engineering teams on a platform product
Experience as a product manager, product owner, or product/business analyst (perhaps even for an analytics or business intelligence application)
Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle
Some practical experience in wealth management, insurance or financial services industry
An interest in and understanding of data science and machine learning principles
Skilled at working effectively with cross functional teams in a matrix organization
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Familiarity with agile development methodologies
Problem-solving aptitude
Creative thinking skills
Team player with a good, competitive attitude
