The successful candidate will have wide-ranging commercial and contracts experience in a multiple product-line/discipline environment. This position will be responsible for the development and implementation of a world-class commercial framework for multiple products and services in Western Canada.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
Supports process and coordinates responses for Requests for Proposals (RFP), and Invitations to Tenders (ITT)
Review RFP documents and commercial sections of the tenders to identify tender requirements

Template a response

Coordinate meetings with product lines to develop bid strategy

Format documents utilizing BHGE brand standards, review drafts and finalize documents
Regularly updates and communicates with company's Legal, tax, HSE, quality and finance representatives to identify various project-related risks or concerns as well commercial issues
Assist with development and implementation of contracting and commercial strategies
Supports development of corporate contracting policies and guidelines, contract model forms and systems
Reviews, drafts and negotiates regional contracts and commercial documents
Involvement in price book formulation and content, as well as creating commercial tools and programs
Coaches and mentors sales team members
Local champion for CRM platform including ongoing updates
Local champion for pricing and margin tools
Executes special projects as required

Essential Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent

5 plus years’ experience in a related field

Procurement / contract expertise

Desired Characteristics:
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, along with the ability to build strong business relations both internally and externally

Ability to lead small to mid-size groups and mentor others

Excellent communication skills both verbally and written and comfortable with facilitating presentations

Proven negotiator and the ability to negotiate at all levels, and initiate and lead contract discussions to successful completion

Strong attention to detail and analytical aptitude

Extremely well organized along with the ability to multi-task and handle ever changing priorities in a fast paced environment

Commitment to customer service and the ability to work in a team oriented environment

Thorough knowledge of multiple product portfolio’s and offering spanning multiple business segments and competitive markets
