Machine shop looking for a Bookkeeper/Accounting clerk.

Having Machine Shop background an asset.

We are looking for someone to work 3-4 days a week .

Wage salary or hourly is negotiable based on experience.

Must have 3+ years bookkeeping, and experience in Sage 300 accounting, MS Word, Excel and Outlook.

This position will be involved in all aspects of accounting for the business's activities, including administration, accounts payable and accounts receivable, bank reconciliation, payroll etc.

Requirements,

Demonstrate experience with Sage 300

Verify and post transactions to maintain accurate and current financial records.

A/P Enter and pay supplier invoices.

A/R Issue invoices to customers and ensure receivables are collected

Sales tax ( GST/HST,PST ) recording & remittances

Record cash receipts and bank deposits

Conduct monthly reconciliations of all bank and credit card accounts

Maintain orderly accounting filing system

Provide information and work with external accountants for yearly financial statements.

Maintain a high level of customer service and professionalism to our customers.

Digitally savvy, comfortable with learning new technology and software.

Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work

Aptitude for improving systems and processes.

Most important is honesty and loyalty.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: $22.00 to $30.00 /hour
