Reporting to the Director of Marketing (SSC) the Digital Marketing Strategist is responsible for maintaining a prominent on-line presences of Sprott Shaw College through digital marketing initiatives.
Develop, monitor and optimize Google, Facebook and Instagram campaigns.
Develop landing pages for testing to increase conversion rates.
Manage and optimize ad banners through execution of ongoing A/B testing practice.
Execute onsite and offsite SEO strategy and recommendations.
Perform ongoing keyword research to identify content opportunities and in response to competitive dynamics and new product launches.
Collaboratively manage all Social Media channels for our International departments. Work with the domestic team to maintain and editorial calendar and social media strategy.
Work with the Marketing team to provide creative direction for banners and landing page assets.
Track and analyze key metrics and generate weekly reports on site conversions using our in-house CRM and Google Analytics.
Understand our target demographics, programs, campuses (and their regions) and our competitors.
Understand and maintain our Brand Guidelines and Brand Voice when developing creative assets.
Understanding of Web Hooks is an asset.
Stay abreast of new and emerging digital technologies and applications that could be of potential benefit to the company
Monitor and research the digital marketing strategies and communications of our competitors
Work with the Director of Marketing on other Marketing related projects as needed

Qualifications and Education
Degree/Diploma/Certificate in Digital Marketing and/or Marketing and/or Web Design
At least two years of related working experience
Experience with International Recruitment and/or International Marketing
Experience with WordPress Content Management System
Experience with Search Engine Optimization and Search Engine Marketing
Knowledge of the latest versions of industry standard design and publishing tools
Knowledge of Marketing, Communication and/or Public Relations
Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
