HOURS: Monday to Thursday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm;

Friday 8:00 am – 2:00 pm

POSITION OVERVIEW: Responsible for planning, scheduling, coordinating and monitoring products through the complete production cycle.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for creating, executing and monitoring a daily production schedule and ensures that output is recorded into the correct system
  • Monitor material flow to ensure shipping goals are met
  • Able to understand customer demand and how to alter production so that this demand is met
  • Communicates with customers when there are significant variations in product demand
  • Communicates demand information across facility so that everyone is aware of volume and metrics
  • Reconciles inaccuracies with customer shipments and deliveries
  • Ensures that employees receive schedules in a timely manner and that any discrepancies are accounted for and covered
  • Serve as a liason between vendors, customers and production to achieve production goals
  • Implements Lean manufacturing best practices to maximize efficiencies
  • Works cross functionally with other departments on continuous improvement initiatives related to inventory management
  • Assists logistics team lead and supervisor with daily tasks as required

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or engineering
  • APICS certification in Production and Inventory Management
  • Minimum of three (3) years related working experience in inventory management
  • Minimum of three (3) years related working experience in a manufacturing setting preferably automotive
  • Advanced computer user including Microsoft Suite and ERP (CMS preferred)
  • Skilled in project management and collaboration
  • Proven problem solving and analytical ability
  • Advanced and proven mathematical skills for purposes of analysis
