Plow Manager

Roles and Responsibilites

· Operating competency in sander, plow and skidsteer must be average at minimum

· Competent in all the basic plow and skidsteer troubleshooting and maintenance

· Must be able to pull large trailers with equipment

· Reachable by cell phone 24 hours a day, 7 days a week

· Must monitor weather conditions as they develop

· Carry out health and safety policies of the company within division

· Able to work overnight and long hours to ensure all work is delegated and completed

· Must be a confident decision maker and able to alter plan as needed throughout the event

· Must have at least 2 years experience in same or similar capacity

· Prepare equipment at beginning of season and arrange post snow checklist

· Use Online CRM to produce and print off route sheets for operators

· Contact operators to keep them informed and let them know start time as snow develops

· Meet operators at start of shift and ensure all paperwork is turned in at end of shift

· Site check throughout the night and in following days to ensure quality work is performed

· Perform ongoing training for operators

· Arrange extra work such as tidying up sites, snow hauling, snow melting, scraping and ice removal

· Manager equipment manager and help perform various tasks to keep trucks, plows, skidsteers, attachments clean and fixed

· Work directly under operations manager to ensure all customer requests and concerns are addressed and documented

· All tasks relate to plowing including but not limited to monthly reports, newsletters, plow maps, etc are to be handled professionally promptly to ensure the success of the plowing division
