Role Description

The role of the Accounts Payable Administrator, Development Accounting at QuadReal Property Group is to oversee the full cycle of the Accounts Payable function including invoice processing, approval coordination, contract management, vendor payments and inquiries for the portfolio of commercial and residential properties under development.

Responsibilities:
Oversee monthly invoice processes, such as:
Invoice organization and processing by ensuring timely processing of all vendor and trade invoices in accordance to QuadReal’s and Municipal deadlines;
Ensure proper backup is attached to all invoices before processing is initiated;
Invoice approval co-ordination with Development teams;
Assist in wire transfer processing;
Compilation of supporting documents for monthly draw packages;
Input and reconciliation of contract commitments, purchase orders and vendor accounts;
Communicate with Development team, JV Partners and Vendors regarding invoice coding, reconciliations and payments;
Respond to all vendor requests related to payment, vendor accounts, in a timely manner;
Holdback processing and releases according to builder’s lien act.
Assist in administration duties within the Development Accounting team
Other duties within the scope, spirit and purpose of the job, as requested by management

Experience and Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of accounts payable experience in a development or construction environment.
Minimum 2 years of contract management experience in a development or construction environment.
Post secondary education in, business or real estate considered an asset
Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Yardi experience considered an asset
Strong organizational, planning and time management skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Self starter, independent and able to prioritize workloads
Teamwork, ability to develop and maintain cooperative working relationships
Contribute to a positive work environment / culture
