Coveo is seeking an energetic, motivated, and ambitious Sales Development Representative (SDR) to prospect and identify new sales opportunities in our Commerce line of business. This role requires a challenger and provocative individual to relentlessly penetrate our target market profiles through outbound calling, emailing, and strategic outreach.

The SDR holds a key and unique position which works closely with sales, partner managers, R&D, and marketing to bring in prospects at the top of the funnel. You are the first impression of Coveo when a lead comes in or when you're cold calling and it is your job to deliver a personalized and highly credible experience, as well as initial sales qualification.

Your main responsibilities will include:
  • Build pipeline by outbounding to V and C level eCommerce, Digital Experience, Merchandising, and B2B/B2C executives
  • Follow a structured cadence process to connect with, differentiate our value to, and schedule discovery calls in a personalized and targeted fashion
  • Develop and execute pre and post event prospecting strategy for Coveo and third party events
  • Collaborate with Coveo's partner ecosystem to identify, collaborate, and qualify sales opportunities
  • Work with Account Executives to progress qualified leads through the sales process
  • Research and build intelligence on accounts to figure out the best strategy to land business with them
  • Be a Coveo evangelist by demonstrating a deep understanding of the platform, our competitive differentiators, and the value we provide our customers
  • Stay up to date on trends in the industry and marketing developments in the industry

You should also have:
  • Drive: Self-starter, street smart with excellent influence, persuasion & motivation skills
  • Business Acumen: You can quickly assimilate, then navigate a variety of B2B organizations, their structures & workflows
  • A strong team spirit: Much of the work is highly collaborative & cross functional in nature
  • Charisma: To earn support and trust and develop long-term partnerships
  • Flawless English; and no, being functional is NOT sufficient
  • Familiarity with Salesforce.com ecosystem and B2B & B2C e-commerce industry a plus
  • Two plus years experience in sales or business development a plus
  • Account-based selling and buyer-centric messaging experience, a plus
  • Being comfortable working with a remote team
