The Burnaby Association for Community Inclusion (BACI) was created in 1956, when parents of children with disabilities in Burnaby gathered to advocate for the rights of their sons and daughters. We have grown into a non-profit organization that provides innovative services to over 1,000 adults, youth and children with developmental disabilities and their families in Metro Vancouver.
We are currently seeking staff to work in our unique residential programme in East Vancouver. We are looking for staff who are able to work awake overnight shifts with hours ranging from on-call to full time hours. This is a unique programme supporting individuals who have developmental disabilities, as well as struggles with addictions issues. We are looking for staff who:
Days of work - Mornings, Afternoons, Evenings and Weekends
Hours - Varied
Salary - As per collective agreement - Grid 10,
Education & Qualifications:
Graduation from a university or Community College with an appropriate degree or certificate in Human Services. An equivalent of education and experience will be considered. First Aid/ CPR and Non-violent Intervention training required. A valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License is required. Use of own personal vehicle would be an asset.
