Our P&C Pricing and Segmentation team is considered an industry leader in the application of actuarial science. As the Senior Manager, National Pricing you will oversee the actuarial pricing process for commercial lines of business. You will motivate and engage your team, contribute to rates implementation and complete pricing analysis, including profitability reviews, segmentation development and dislocation analysis.
What you’re responsible for:
Utilizing actuarial tools and techniques, participating in the development of best practices and improving pricing models to ensure alignment with corporate rate strategies and industry trends.
Assessing the profitability of portfolios under review, designing reports and supporting the annual planning process by providing information on rates, loss trends and loss ratios.
Managing expenditures, contributing to the development of budgets and conducting, planning and organizing projects and pricing reviews.
Assisting with rates implementation and improving the review process by identifying required changes, anticipating potential issues and proposing strategies to support successful execution.
Coaching and developing your team, recruiting and selecting talent, managing and rewarding performance, and fostering an agile culture to deliver on strategic objectives.

To join our team:
You have 10 years of experience in Actuarial Pricing, including five years of experience as a people leader.
You have a post-secondary degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics or a related discipline.
You hold the Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society (ACAS) designation.
You have expert knowledge of actuarial pricing principles, concepts and theories and are skilled in quantitative data analysis tools and modelling software.
